I have delivered this Prezi presentation - or permutations of it - at the Post Graduate conference in Linguistics at Birkbeck college (University of London), Warwick University, and Lancaster University.
I think Prezi's zooming function aides cognition, for those who do not get motion-sickness :) It seems to be based on the principle of a glorified mind-map, and thereby puts more onus on the presenter to deliver and embellish the content.

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about using it myself and after see this I want to give a try for my module 6 presentation next week.
I am currently addicted to using Prezi; it's so much more fun and easier to use than Powerpoint. Just remember that when you zoom in that text is readable. It isn't here because Blogger only allowed it to be embedded a certain maximum width. But if you click "more" it will take you to the Prezi site where the actual presentation is online.
